I am the first to admit that this subject eludes me and does not settle in my mind as elementary in teaching. It could be that we as failed men complicate matters to the point of creating theological issues where there are none. If I was hearing this and alive during the writing of the Hebrew letter I would simply accept this as a teaching regarding the apostle appointing, anointing and healing. We are however, called to lay our hands on the sick and they will get well. Whether or not this only applies to apostles, elders or every disciple is where we make things complicated.
